On some iPhone models, Apple has added a feature to the camera called " Night mode ". It is a mode which, in order to improve the quality of the image, automatically activates when the camera detects weak light conditions.
It is currently usable on the iPhone 12, iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12 Pro, iPhone 12 Pro Max, iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, and iPhone 11 Pro Max. Night mode allows you to take clear photos even in low light environments.

However, it is not the solution to all light-related problems. Night mode slows down the setting. This increases the risk of having blurry photos, especially in the event of movement of the target to be photographed. It is therefore recommended to stabilize the iPhone, with a tripod, or by placing it on a stable surface.
Sometimes the best thing to do is not to rely too much on your iPhone's smart camera, for example by increasing the outside light. In some cases, when you want to have naturally dark images, iPhone night mode can become a hindrance.
Disable night mode on iPhone
On devices running a version of iOS earlier than iOS 15, disabling night mode can only be temporary. It is automatically reactivated the next time the camera is launched. From iOS 15, night mode can be permanently deactivated in the settings.
To turn off night mode on iPhone, tap the icon | at the top of the screen when the camera is launched. Deactivation via this icon will only be temporary. Here's how to turn off night mode on iPhone once and for all, if your version of iOS allows it:
